Sales Policies
I. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
- By making a purchase at Grumpy’s Bargain Mart and
Novelty Nook, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
- If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions you
have the right not to make a purchase here.
II. Sales
- All items listed on this online site are marked with a selling price. This price
is a fair, non-negotiable price for all global customers. To be fair
to all customers, we offer our already-discounted prices to everyone.
- All items, with the exception of those items that are
not taxed, will be subject to New York State Sales Tax at the
current rate for this item.
III. Refusal of Service/Entrance
- The employees of Grumpy’s Bargain Mart & Novelty Nook
are given the right to refuse service to anyone at their sole
discretion.
- We further reserve the right to deny service and/or
entrance to any person before or after the store’s hours of
operation.
IV. Layaways
- Grumpy’s Bargain Mart & Novelty Nook offers the service
of holding products with a small deposit known as “Layaway.”
- Like any other service of the store, the employees
retain the right to refuse the service of layaway to any
customer at their sole discretion.
- To place an item on layaway, you must place a 15%
deposit on the price of the item, including any Sales Tax.
- You must provide your name, address, and phone number;
in addition to any other information requested, to the employee
accepting your layaway.
- Layaways must be paid-in-full and picked up within 30
days. If they are not paid for and picked up by this time, your
item may be returned to the sales floor and any payments you
have made on your purchase(s) may be forfeited.
- We reserve the right to suspend the service of layaway
at anytime. At this time, all layaways will be subject to
these same regulations.
V. Gift Certificates
- Grumpy’s Bargain Mart and Novelty Nook also offers the
service of issuing gift certificates.
- Gift certificates are available at their face value for
any denomination.
- Gift certificates are valid for a period of one year. After such period, Grumpy's
certificates may expire at any time.
- Grumpy’s Bargain Mart & Novelty Nook reserves the right
to suspend the service of issuing Gift Certificates at any
time. At this time, gift certificates will still be valid
until their normal expiration date.
